Nothing here is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, interest or other financial instrument, in any jurisdiction. Nothing here is investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, or a recommendation to take any course of action. Statements about what we look for, what we will consider and how we decide describe our general approach; they are not a commitment, and we may depart from them.
Using this site or sending us an enquiry does not make us your adviser and does not create any client, fiduciary or advisory relationship. No agreement with us arises until it is recorded in a signed document.

We see a large number of propositions, some of them similar to one another and to things we are already building or hold. Material you send us without a written agreement in place is not received in confidence, and we accept no obligation of confidentiality, no restriction on our own activities and no obligation to return or destroy it.
So send us enough to explain what you are building and no more. Keep trade secrets, personal data about third parties, and anything you are contractually bound to protect out of a first enquiry. If we want to go further, we will put a confidentiality agreement in place and tell you where to send the rest.
You keep ownership of what you send. You confirm that you are entitled to send it and that doing so breaks no obligation you owe to anyone else.
The text, design, code, marks and logo on this site belong to Oakbey Consultancy Limited or are used with permission. You may read, print and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not copy the site or substantial parts of it, present our material as your own, or use our name or mark to suggest a relationship or endorsement that does not exist.
We take care over what we publish, but the site is provided as it stands. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free or current, and we may change or withdraw any part of it without notice. Opinions here are held at the date of writing.
Where we link to a site we do not control, we are pointing at it rather than endorsing it, and we take no responsibility for what it contains.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated saving, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything in it.
These terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this site are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
